The Fastest Way To Build Muscle

Every bodybuilder, athlete and fitness enthusiast is forever looking for the fastest way to build muscle. We all want 22 inch arms yesterday. While I can't deliver that, I can promise the following information is the fastest way to naturally build muscle ever discovered!

This article will be broken down into 3 parts: Training, Nutrition and Supplementation. In order to gain muscle quickly all three must be followed.

Training

Your goal should be to focus the majority of your efforts and energy on compound movements. These lifts utilize multiple muscle groups simultaneously and allow you to push, pull and move around a great deal of weight, which will help you build muscle extremely fast.

You should aim for 3-4 workouts per week with 80% of your efforts being spend on all variations of squats, deadlifts, power cleans, power snatches, bench press, push press, pull-ups and rows.

Only after these have been completed should isolation exercises such as flyes, curls, pressdowns and crunches be performed.

You should also aim to add 2.5-5% weight on each exercise each workout.

Nutrition

To gain weight very fast you must eat a large amount of quality foods. 95% of your food choices should come from the following list…

  • Protein- chicken breast, turkey breast, fish, lean pork, lean red meat, fresh ham, eggs (whole or whites), milk, cottage cheese, yogurt, and milk protein powders (whey and casein)
  • Carbs- oatmeal, oat bran, lentils, beans, 100% whole-wheat bread, whole-wheat pasta, red potatoes, yams, greens, most other vegetables, and fruit
  • Fats- flax seeds and/or flax seed oil, sunflower seeds and/or sunflower seed oil, fish oil (from fish or as capsules), hemp oil, olive oil, raw nuts, all natural peanut butter, and avocados, cheese, red meat, and whole eggs

You should aim for 2 grams of carbohydrates per pound of body weight along with 1-1.5 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight. To round this off, and in order to build muscle as fast as humanly possible, you must not forget about healthy fats from the list above. Aim for 25% of your calorie intake to come from healthy fats.

Supplementation

Ok now that you've got your training and nutrition plan now we must cover supplementation. There are literally thousands of supplements on the planet, 99% of them being worthless.
