Everyone wants to build lean muscle. This means thick, dense muscle without any fat to hide the definition and striations. After all, what good is building sexy lean muscle if you have a layer of fat hiding it?
So the key to lean muscle development is a combination of exercise, proper nutrition and, of course, nutritional supplementation.
When it comes to exercise your best bet is to keep things simple. Stick to basics, compound movements such as the squat, deadlift, power clean, bench press, push press, pull-ups and rows.
Try to increase your poundage each week on these exercises and be sure to always keep perfect form.

I suggest lean beef, chicken, turkey, fish and eggs as quality protein sources to my clients. For carbohydrates I stick with fruits, oatmeal, sweet potatoes, rice, squash and other vegetables. And for healthy fats I prefer fish, olive oil, natural peanut butter, egg yolks, avocadoes and Omega 3 oils. In addition I always suggest green veggies are eaten with every meal to increase protein absorption, keep meals on proper PH balance and for overall anti-oxidant and health benefits.
