Default Mike Mentzer, HIT, Dorian Yates training

Hey guys,

I am a big fan of this type of training. I am not one of those poeple who claim other stuff doesn't work, but HIT has always been my go-to-guy when it comes to weight lifting.

Does anyone else train like this or have any input on the training methods?

Personally, I do 3-4 workouts per week, 1-2 hard sets per body part, then try to beat my record next workout. I tried doing more, but that lead to either burnout or no progression.

Anyways, I just wanted to make a thread on the subject because I did not see one here.

EDIT: I know I am grouping a lot of different methods and workout schemes in one thread, but I figured anything that is brief, basic, and brutal would belong in a thread like this, whether you are training 5 days a week like Dorian did, or twice a month like Mentzer eventually reccomended for the most advanced trainees.
