Default Tell me why?

This is going to sound like a joke, but tell me why i got the most animal style workout and set a PR on both flat and decline bench after eating McDonalds as my pre-workout meal... I had a screw up/cheat thing.. ended up pounding down McDonalds like it was going out of style ( and it did 15 years ago). Still took AP.... Ate MickyDs... an hour later i felt super guilty.. luckly my gym partner just got off work.. so i got him to hit the gym with me... we pounded down our Jack3d... got in there.. and i just started going animal on the weights... Swet everywhere.. my stamina was ridiculous. and i squeezed out like 10 more pounds over my previous PR

Off of McDonalds?>? wtf... normally i would have a good amount of carbs and light amount of protein with my BCAA pills.... this time all i did was eat McDonalds and i dominated the gym... It was ridiculous and it made me say WTF... kind of thinking of eating McDonalds on my gym days now haha. probably just a fluke though.

hmm..well, since you were feeling guilty, think that had anything to do with fueling the mental aspect? i.e., damn, I better take it up a notch in this workout to burn off the crap I just ate.

like you said, probably just a fluke.

if you want tho, start making MickeyD's your daily preWO fare, and let us know how that works out for you..

Actually it could have been the high calories and the amount of sodium you consumed. In powerlifting a lot of lifters super saturate before the meet because the water retention gives the muscles better leverage for strength. Also the amount of calories prolly gave you a reserve of energy. What does your pre workout meal usually consist of?
