ok cool

Man, I heard so many different things, I was told at a GNC to take creatine for 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off.

I know damn well i took it for longer then that last year when i took it haha.

Only problem is, I would break out Do you know anything about creatine mono and acne? Im not to sure if i was taking a sugary creatine mix at the time But I have read...

Something that water retention can cause you to breakout, I have mild acne that is being controlled now with the help of benzoyl peroxide but I would rather not breakout like I did last year while taking creatine if you have any suggestions.

thanks again!

or, you can run for 4 weeks, break for 2.
yes, creatine should be cycled as well, 3-4 months on then take a break for a month.

I've never heard of any correlation between creatine mono & acne..might have been a sugary compound you used last time, in which case I could possibly see the connection.

I replied to the post you have going on in the other thread already..
I don't know what to tell you, other than troubleshooting that particular tub of Jack3d..I don't ever come across this kind of feedback.
are you & your friend sharing the same tub? where did you purchase it? has it been stored effectively re. temperature containment/closed tightly upon storage? are you shaking the tub prior to use as directed to ensure even distribution of ingredients?
if all these issues are in order, then I suggest returning the product.

We are on seperate tubs of jack3d

I purchased mine from gnc
He got his from the vitaminne shoppe

Storing temperatures should be fine, The tub is in the pantry.

I have not shook up the tub, Do you think this can be the problem? I am sure my friend has not done so either.

Thanks again

Default my two cents

I was using some other pre-workout supps with different combination of arganine, creatine, caffeine, etc. Popular stuff, you'd know the name...don't want to bash other supps here but between "fat burners", energy drinks, and pre-workout supps I cooked my adrenals.

I'm positive I'm not alone when I see people getting diminishing returns from the other supps like I did. Coincidentally and luckily (!!) I found Recreate and Jack3d and was happy to see that with less caffeine I could get a boost pre-workout. Ditto with Recreate as a fat burner.

The first few days, maybe almost a week I will be honest, I *thought* that my old supps worked better mainly because I didn't "feel" anything. But since I believed in the science & research behind Recreate and Jack3d I kept on with the dosing schedule.

What I found what this:

Because I had created such a tolerance to caffeine and cooked my adrenals (which by the way had the added "benefit" of increased cortisol release...yeah perfect right??) it took my body some time to right itself.

...by the 6th or 7th day, and definitely into the second week I felt what pre-workout supp and fat burner should make me feel like...not crazy and tingly but focused and confident with endurance and strength in the gym.

My experience is this: The current popularity of most of the supps on the market are likely to create problems for most users because of the stims in them. I won't lie, they feel great at first and then you need more and more to get that feeling and before you know it you are doing more damage to your body than good.

Think about it: your adrenals control regulatory hormones and when it's out of balance it effects your thyroid which controls metabolism. Now I'm giving the "cliff notes" version here but the story ends the same.

Give the Jack3d a little more time...Full Disclosure: I take Recreate upon awakening and take PowerFULL and Jack3d together before training.

My two cents: I think the only thing we can honestly share are our own experiences.

Best of luck with your training.

nice insight there Chili, sound advice as well.
the thought occurred to me as well that OP could be in adrenal fatigue, since he mentioned using NOexplode previously.
as you said, some ppl never take proper breaks from stims to let the adrenals reset..
thx for sharing.

1. Well you should definitely be shaking it beforehand, just like protein, the "good stuff" always sinks to the bottom. You have to mix it so everything is balanced.

2. A good pre-workout energy drink like "jack3d" isn't going to turn you into superman, so dont expect that. What it does is keeps you going and keeps you focused. Don't stand around between sets too long and dont focus on the "effects" of jack3d. Focus on your form and that you're getting the most out of every exercise.

3. Working out is exactly what its called, "WORK". You can't expect to make gains just because you take a supp. You have to push yourself, its not going to get easier. Otherwise you've just ran into a plateau anyways.

4. Again, "Jack3d" gets you focused. It doesn't make you crazy, and if you're feeling tingly and way too hyper then the likelihood is, you took too much. Your workout is going to suffer, and you're going to want to crash and leave the gym in like 30 minutes.

5. Good luck, stay safe, and stay consistent. =)
