Default Quadriceps Tendon Tear and SuperCissus

I have been reading a lot about USPLabs products and was referred by a natural bodybuilder buddy of mine, whose opinion I respect and suggested that I use Super Cissus RX as part of my recovery protocol.

I have been weight training for about 18 years since college and seriously hitting the iron for the last 3. Recently had a fall that tore 90% of my central quad tendon at the patella ( that functions as the main mechanism to raise the leg) and had surgery yesterday. The orthopedic surgery said that the tendon was hanging to the patella by a thread and would have completely ruptured if I hadn't had it not to mention scarring that would have severely limited recovery and flexibility. Enough said.

Have been eating very clean for about the last 1.5 years or so, busting it in the gym, never missing a workout, etc. Frustrating to say the least since I was ramping up for my first competition at the age of 48.

My question is twofold:
1: What dosage of this product should I consider as part of my recuperation regimen?
2:Anyone else have a similar injury and how did your rehab go; how long did it take for you to be doing a heavy lower body workout (squats, hacks, deads, etc)

Doc says it should be about 6 weeks until I can bend the knee and I start P/T in about 2 weeks.

Any feedback would be awesome.

Pete

I feel ya man, injuries are tough..
I would recommend SuperCissus for sure..9 caps daily (3 caps, dosed 10min prior to 3 different meals).
I recently tore my medial meniscus playing tennis, and was hi-dosing the SC (12caps daily) along with shea nut (Butyrospermum parkii) for inflammation reduction..tear was small enough to avoid surgery, and I was able to do some rehabilitative leg work 9 days after intitial injury! first couple days after tearing it were rough, but I'm walking normally and pain-free right now (this all happened within last 2 weeks).
I've had great experience w/ SC aiding my recovery in shoulder bursitis and a grade 3 calf tear as well..off-label uses for sure, but the stuff works great on so many levels!

Default Quad Tear

Hey man, thanks for the input. I have ordered SC and a buddy of mine had two small quad tears: 1 @ 15% and the other at 40% and he said it helped him a lot.

Just gotta be patient. I heal pretty fast from other past injuries so have to do slow, deliberate and controlled movements.

Good luck with your recup, bro.
