Default SC and Ibuprofen

Can you take Super Cissus and Ibuprofen together or is it recommended to lay off Ibuprofen while on SC. Does Ibuprofen affect SC? Your help will be greatly appreciated, Thank You

Actually the reply is slightly wrong.

You won't be hurt by the two, but SC stimulates protein synthesis, while most anti-inflammatories are designed to stop protein synthesis.....especially ibuprofen.

SC is not only good for pain, but the fact it stimulates protein synthesis means for rebuilding muscle tissue (building muscle) as well.

All in all, if you take both, you'll do some canceling out of the two drugs. I'd only take both if you have some serious tendonitus........which in that case will require you to stop the swelling of inflamed tendons in the affected area.

and actually there KT, you are confusing the issue.
first of all, there is no 'cancelling out' of these effects.

yes, nsaids do inhibit post-exercise protein sysnthesis slightly, nothing that I would be alarmed about by any means for a short duration.

if you are in pain and need ibuprofen as a temporary analgesic, there will be no interactions with SuperCissus, as per the OP's question.

long-term, i don't think there is a question at all on whether one should not maintain nsaid usage.
and of course - this is where SuperCissus shines, as an exceptional stand-alone product that can be used long-term, with it's own unique benefits.

want to read more on the whole ibuprofen/synthesis issue? check it out here..
