Default Begrudginly I will...

I forgot about the Olive oil. Good call. Im not looking forward to the sweet potatoes with just salt and pepper, but ill do what it takes..

Do you think that the flourless bread, Ezekial bread, is a complex carb? I could definatly eat a couple of slices of that a day, no problem.

Also, what do you think of MCT oil? I heard its an excellent choice for fat, as its supposed to be used used more for energy.

On the nuts, I never buy in a can. I buy in bulk in the organic section of grocery stores.

Again, to all the great input from you guys, thank you!

Also, today ive really made an effort to eliminate simple carbs, and eating more complex carbs. Ill try to make it a habit.

I was looking at your post workout meal. Is the protein mixed together with the banana and oatmeal ? I found the best way for me to incorporate all the things I need after workout is to make one shake. It consists of
2 scoops whey 50g
2 tbsp natural pb
2 tbsp evoo
5g l- glutamine
5g creatine monohydrate
skim milk to consistency
rolled oats 40g carbs
banana

now that's breakfast. I workout fasted in the morning except for no shotgun.

Default My post workout meal

This is my usual routine. After we are done working out, I take one Anabolic Pump at the gym. On the way home, at least ten minutes pass, I take one Super Cissus.

When I walk in the house, I usually grab the banana first and eat that right away. Ill then pour my fat free milk and add all the protein powder, shake, and drink. I take creatine pills with it also.

The Protein I was first using was GNC's Amp Wheybolic protein-60 grams, and about 10 grams of Supra soy Protein. The Protein from the milk is about 16 grams as well.

I got the Soy at GNC on sale, it is goin to expire february of next year, so it was pretty cheap. But I wont be using it anymore.

I recently bought a new protein called E2. It has this liver by pass technology. You can only get it at GNC, and I like the different proteins in it.

So now I use 40 grams of the amp wheybolic and 1 scoop of the E2, wich is 20 grams. Ill see if this makes a difference.

it'll be better than you think.
you don't have to eat them on a steady basis, maybe a couple a week..these dudes are chock full of vitamins and minerals tho, really good source of nutrition/carbs.

yes! I love Ezekiel. throw some natty PB on it, add some addtl protein (egg whites or protein powder), you got a hella meal.
Also, what do you think of MCT oil? I heard its an excellent choice for fat, as its supposed to be used used more for energy.
I wouldn't supplement w/ MCT's. if it happens to be in your protein shake (such as MuscleMilk - Cytosport loves MCT's) then okay, but don't go out and buy any.
On the nuts, I never buy in a can. I buy in bulk in the organic section of grocery stores.
good..so, don't eat the whole bag then!
Again, to all the great input from you guys, thank you!
glad to help.

that's the ticket.

Default Cla timing with Recreate

I just took my last dose of Recreate for the day, but I tried something new. I took 2000mgs of CLA with it. Normaly I take my CLA with meals, but will taking it with Recreate, both on an emty stomach be more beneficial?

CLA is better utilized when taken with food.

Really!? No wonder i didn't get much from about 7 bottles of CLA i feel like i wasted my money now .

Anyway, I've already got a bottle of Recreate (which im holding off on till after new year) and I'm going to be going to be buying one of those big GNC Tonalin CLA's and a second bottle of Recreate....does that seem like an effective stack for muscle definition? not necessarily fat lose

Tonalin CLA 3000mg (doctor recommended doseage)
Recreate
GNC Triple strength fish oil 3 capsules (about 2700mg Omega 3s (EPA/DHA))

i don't have a lot of fat to lose (somewhere along the lines of 10 15lb of fat mass) im going to be starting hiit this week too

Is there a difference between plant-derived CLA and bovine CLA? If so, how does one obtain bovine CLA? Anyone know a source?
