Exclamation Losing Motivation

Ive been taking Recreate for twelve days now? I did experience a weight loss of five pounds, but im just not feeling so motivated anymore. I do have a problem with staying on track when i don;t see results, bad i know but i would like to know what is the best diet and exercise work out plan to follow in order to reach maximun results. Im trying to lose weight for a wedding in Nov! Im not sure how much i could lose by then. Im at 220.. I would like to lose some noticable weight before then.. Any help?

I also feel like the pills only work when i work out so if i miss a workout i feel like though the pills wont work? I know its probably incorrect but its just a mind thing.

Please help me get motivated & on track!!!

Default a few suggestions...from someone who's been there

Well first congrats! Five lbs in 12 days is a great start.

Second, is if you've got a deadline -- the Nov. wedding -- that's got to be the motivation you have to hang on to my friend.

Recreate will help control your hunger but when you are trying to accomplish a radical change you have to be willing take some radical action.

I don't know where you are health-wise so I am not going to rec. anything specific to you but I can tell you what I did.

First off, I'm down 45 lbs plus...I tell you this because I have and am already doing what I am about to rec. to you...

I did do a two week liver cleanse which has helped immensely. For two weeks I eliminated animal proteins and focused on yogurt, eggs, cottage cheese, lentils, beans, un-roasted nuts, apples, berries.

Veggies but NO corn or potato. NO starches or grains. The only caffeine you should be taking in is what's in Recreate.

Again this was for only two weeks. It was like priming my body for what I was going to do next.

I took Recreate as well and walked daily without getting my heart rate too high - it should be low impact, keep your bpm under 130. I know it sounds a little counter-intuitive but most of us have congested livers and are in total adrenal exhaustion - so it works.

Ok, so going into the third week on out is where you need to really focus on your goal and keep with the training. In order to make a "noticeable" change you have to work your muscles. Low intensity cardio alone will not make a dramatic change. I did an all-out 20min on an elliptical and try to either use a higher level or "go further" each session - you must also do some weighted exercise. Three on/one off.

Since you are on a very short timetable, I would only have carbs immediately after training. Focus on veggies and lean protein. Not tasty fun, but effective.

These are some broad strokes here but if you want more detail, I will be happy to post more of what I did. See if it's something you can truly commit to and we can go from there. Again, I don't know your medical/health situation so use your common sense regarding what you are capable of, ok?

I wish you all the best! You CAN do it!

Wow!! Well im i cut the carbs out. I would like more details, but here's a little taste of what i eat..
I wake up eat cereal, special k with 2% milk..if i have time, or an apple or special k bar...take 2 recreate pillss! then i have an apple in my purse or 100 calorie snack so if i get hungry at school i have a healthy snack. Im horrible of staying on track when my friends decide to go out, i wont splurge..but for ex i orderred ched.broc soup from subway, its 120 calories.. Im not sure if thats okay or not. I still feel guilty.. then i usually have a grilled chicken salad w/ olive oil lemon salt vinegrette.. Thats pretty much it... Idk i ate two boiled eggs for breakfast today, then had an apple and a bowl of cabbage soup. Im planning on eating chicken salad for dinner. Just let me know if im going about it right? I would appreciate your details, your post was very motivating and comforting! & for some reason even though the wedding is a motivational thing..I still tend to vere of course!!!! Thnx so muchhh

Unhappy need some help!

my name is brittany, i just started recreate today! i am excited to get some good results finally..i have been working out since January. I weighed in jan at 153 and was down to 131 by april. It was great but since then i have been working out 3 to 4 days a week and eating mostly healthy. Breakfast, whole wheat english muffin w/ low fat peabut butter, special k cereal with skim or oatmeal..lunch, grilled chicken salad from mcCdonalds with low fat balsamic and dinner is chicken of some sort(grilled, baked) or pork tenderloin with a vegetable, sometime brown rice or sweet potatoe w/spray butter. I havent changed anything really except i started on the birth control shot(depo provera) in march and i am now at 160 and cant understand it. I just recently got off the shot cause that was my only excuse to the weight gain and not loss.? I do 25-30 min of moderate cardio 4-5 days a week..elliptical or walk on 4.0 on incline of 5 and increase to 13 incline in the 25 minutes..or jog .5 miles in 5 min then walk 5 then jog .5 walk .5miles. Then i do legs one day..3 sets of 12. Back and Bicep one day, i was doing 3 exercises for back and 3 for bicep..3 set of 12 for each and same for chest and triceps..but i recently increased my weights and do one set of 10 for each exercise..i hope someone can help me on what i can do and give me some motivation for recreate to help me! doing all this work and gaining 15 pounds is really depressing, Im ready to give up..

Yo Brittany, if you gained 15 lbs and you are doing all that work, you might want to go to a doctor and get your hormones checked. (Thyroid problems maybe?)

Best way to stay motivated is to do three things... Find a workout parter that is dedicated, buy some jacked.. and get a couple of good rock CD's... Also forget being a mature adult. act like a 12 year old boy. crack stupid jokes as your making your way to the gym... then get in there all jack3d up and force your partner to near fainting/vomitting status.. and have him do the same for you.. Then boom. before you know it your in routine and rocking it out as a leaner and more sexy version of you.

Only problem with the "maintain a goofy mentality" is your boy end up wanting to go to the bar, drink, and pick up women due to the increase esteem and feel good mood.... heh.. atleast i do.
