I will be 61 in Feb. I have two goals to accomplish by that time.
The first is to go from a bodyweight of 190 lbs. to 200 lbs. of lean muscle. The second is to run the 440 dash under 60 seconds. Do you really think these supplements would really help me do that? Also, I'm new at writiing these threads. I hope I'm not doing it incorrectly. |

Those are some great goals man. I can give you my take on the whole situation based on my relative experience.
No supplement is magic. If your training and diet are not in check and aligned with your goals, even the most potent of supplememnts will not be of help to you. With that being said, I can say that I am using one of USP Labs' other products, Prime, and it is doing exactly what they say it should be doing at 5 days in. I have reason to believe that their products are of the highest quality, and I put my money where my mouth is; I ordered three bottles of Prime, Anabolic Pump, and Powerful to take their asteroid stack. So yes, I believe all of the products you see here will help you, but not in replacement of a proper diet and training program. I am sure you already knew that, but a lot of people expect miracles from supplements that even real gear could not deliver. |

Thanks for replying. I've been in fitness all my life and was a personal trainer for 12 years but at my age I've found nothing that will help me put on lean muscle mass. That's why I ask if these supplements work. Is there anyone out there my age that has got great results. I'm always suspicious of companies that claim great results and then you try them and they don't work.

Well, I am not your age, but I can vouche for overall skeptism for supplements, as most of the crap I have tried over the years has been a complete waste of money.
All I can say is that so far Prime is doing exactly what they say it would, and for a non-hormonal supplement I find that amazing. Hell, I thought hormones were the only way to go until I found this company. I would test out the products like this. Find the one that is most appealing, then give it a test drive. If you like it, order more. One anecdotal story I do have is about a 50 something year old that bounced from supplement to supplement, but refused to look at his training at his age. He still trained like he did in the 70's. I am not doubting the effectiveness of it, but I could guarantee he was chronically overtrained. Hell, his workout would overtrain a pure bred race horse! Had he cut back on volume and focused on getting stronger, he would have had better results, but instead he looked at it like making it through marathon training sessions. I guess the moral of the story is cutting back on volume, or deloading the overall fatigue is required to keep making progress. |
