IMO, that is not optimal. eat too close to training, and you do not have proper time to digest the food; as well, blood will still be drawn to the gut for digestion purposes 30min out from eating, rather than circulating those nutrients thruout your body (i.e. to muscle stores) when digestion is complete.
you guys talking about gh release at night, killing me..
do not confuse the 'best' time for gh release effectiveness to be the
only time that it is beneficial..do you realize that certain training thresholds are what release gh in the body, barring any supplementation such as PF? so, why would you not want to put the body in gh-release mode (with concurrent increase in testosterone release)
prior to training??

I am puzzled by this.
