Default what music do you train and exercise to?

was curious what others listen to while training at their gym. My gym has a sound system but they play some music that it's just pouring hot lava into my ears. Lately i've been switching between house music/minimal and techno, but sometimes get lost in the techno and end up overtraining hahahaa.

today i'm bringin in some Metallica, Suicidal Tendencies and Alkaline Trio

you?
do you find your tunes have an influence and or motivational factor in your workouts?

sure man - music is essential!

I have a fairly wide taste myself - love Metallica, Megadeth and the hard stuff, Linkin Park is always on time; also like some rap (today I'll be listening to all new rap/crunk mix that my son purchased from ITunes yesterday)..I'll even bust out some Rocky soundtrack music quite frequently - if you can't get inspired by Rocky, there's something wrong..

I work out in my garage, so I can blare anything I want to my satisfaction.

today i listened to a new mix by Oliver Koletzki, very jackin' minimal.house.tech, blasted thru 45min of cardio keeping my HR between 161-170 and still cranked. The FTP protocol(as well as PowerFull&Jack3d) + right tunes is a serious portal to training heaven.

ps, if u wanna dload the mix, link below

I agree with Daniel. Metal/Hardcore all the way. Keeps me pumped and ready for more! I might throw some rap in there too, but I end up skipping it anyway....haha.

Slipknot, Mudvayne, Soulfly, TOOL, Black Label Society...a little Metallica "Master of Puppets"...anything that makes me feel like throwing the weights through the wall after a set.

Techno - Sound System 009, DJ Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren.

Disturbed is another good band.

Biggie's classic.

No joke, I was around his stuff when I was little kid...due to my older brother.
