I work out first thing in the morning. I take pwo drink along with powerfull and nitrix. after the gym sometimes i can't eat a good full breakfast for about 45 min. Just because of my schedule and gettting my son ready for school. Will it diminish the effects of the AP to drink a shake right away after workout and come back 30 min later, take the AP, and then eat all my carbs for the morning. I know this section is about AP but maybe you can answer this here as well. my pwo drink contains 20g of protien but no carbs. Will that affect the powerfull since i take them both together. Would it make more sense to take the AP 15 min before pwo drink first thing or just wait til i can eat a good full breakfast? I just want to make sure i'm using everything to its full poential. thanks

I will suggest a few options. Take Anabolic Pump before your workout. This will help your body scavenge nutrients for the workout and shuttle the nutrients in your system from your other supps. It also has about a 4 hour halflife so you could take some protien in right after the workout not all of it though just 10-20 grams. Take another AP the 30 minutes later and have another 35-40 grams protien and your carbs. Don't eat the carbs by themself. Keep insulin at bay by having some more protien your body and your overall composition will thank you.
Another option would be pre mix a shake with some quick oats in it. They are fine enough to swallow down. They also can give you incentive to chew a tiny bit increasing saliva excretions which has the digestive enzymes in it that aids in digestion. The chewing motion is often neglected when taking in a protien shake hence alot of the digestive issues people say they have with shakes. Then pop an AP during a rest period about 20 minutes before the end of your workout and drink the shake as soon as you finish working out. I do this one quite a bit. |
