Dark Matter has 12g protein, 48g carbs (10 of those dextrose) along with their Maltoplex-18 'glucose polymer' [read: maltodextrin]. at least postWO, there are some benefits to using these ingredients (def not pre), but it is still not something you'll ever find in my cupboard.

if using DarkMatter, don't use AP.
one of my fav postWO meals is 1 cup oats, 1 large banana, and 2 scoops of protein (like ProComplex).
if you want a decent straight muscle-gaining type postWO drink in powder form, I personally use Beverly International's Mass Maker when needed. altho it does contain some malto, it's a highly effective supplement -- stuff is da bomb, tasty too..
